Head shot

In our new ward the nursery has pictures posted up of the kids. On the way out of class today the leader asked if we would email her a head shot of Jacob. Getting Jacob to sit still for a photo has always been a challenge. We came home from church and I sat Jacob down so we could take a head shot. I was hoping I could capture at least one useful photo. This is what the photo shoot looked like today. Very funny! emily

Drawing

What a fun day drawing and playing with Grandma Renee. Jacob and Grandma were in the craft room playing. As I walked in, Jacob's paper had a few drawing markes on it but so did his nose. Yes, Ann he does this all the time! Not just with you... emily

Moving week

Here is a cute picture of the boys on moving / packing week. 

So we have sold our house and are completely moved out and all of our belongings are in storage. We are living out of suite cases until our new house closes the last week of August. We are so excited and can't wait to be back in our own beds. Jacob is feeling the most stress of this situation. He is sleeping horribly and waking up disoriented. We can't wait till life is all back to "normal".   emily

Barking dog

We are sitting eating breakfast when Jacob hears a dog bark. He runs to the window looking for the dog and this is what he says: "Mom I can't see the dog, I need my glasses. Mom where is the dog? Can you go and get my glasses so I can see the dog?" So my cute 3 year old is in a house with people who wear glasses. It wasn't that he couldn't see the dog. The dog wasn't in sight.  emily
